Job Title

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing them with the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents in living the life they choose by allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
  • Contribute to the overall quality of life of our residents, including physical, emotional, and lifestyle interests.
  • Implement clinical and care interventions delegated by Registered Nurses, as documented in the residents' care plan.
  • Assist residents with personal care needs while encouraging independence.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively and deliver care with dignity and compassion.
  • Provide care with respect, kindness, and patience.
  • Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and choice.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Aged Care Quality Standards and Quality of Care Principles.
  • A genuine interest in elderly care and a desire to improve the lives of our residents.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Reliability to work to a roster with set shifts and basic computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control.
  • Previous experience in the aged care sector is preferred but not essential.
  • Provide NDIS clearance and Rights to Work.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
  • Medication competency.
