As a financial professional, you will play a key role in supporting the finance manager in managing end-to-end processes for annual budgeting, month-end reconciliations and variance analysis, financial assurance and controls, reporting deliverables and responsibilities within the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate month-end reporting for the division, including accruals and prepayments to ensure timely delivery of financial reports.
  • Manage branch-specific funding reconciliations and acquittals to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with consolidating internal and external reporting requirements for the division, including financial controls, delegations, and annual financial statements to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Review general ledger to ensure compliance with correct accounting practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance manager to review month-end entries and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Coordinate and review access to divisional financial systems and network drives to maintain data security and integrity.
  • Provide management reports to inform decision-making processes and drive business growth.
  • Maintain and update alternative cost centre hierarchy and other reporting tools used internally by the division to improve operational efficiency.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting analysis and budget preparation aligned with financial management best practices, including financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Ability to identify financial improvements that enhance service delivery and drive business growth.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
