About the Opportunity

At Revesby Uniting Church Child Care Centre, we support families with education for their child, including a preschool program and extended hours of care.

We value every child as an individual with a unique personality, interests and needs, so we can best help them to unlock and achieve their potential while enjoying their time in our care.

This role is focused on planning nutritious meals and snacks for children (0-5 years) while adhering to food handling and hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nutritious Meal Planning: Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks that cater to various dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
  • Stock Control and Ordering: Manage stock levels and place orders as needed.
Requirements:
  • FSS Certificate: Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is essential.
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education: Desirable but not required.
  • Meal Preparation Experience: Preferred experience in meal preparation for early childhood settings.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Team Player: Willingness to work effectively with staff and management.
