About the Role:

Our team is seeking a Disability Planner to support planning networks through delivery of core initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse participant records using policies, practice guidance and legislation to inform funding decisions.
  • Collaborate with participants and their representatives via telephone communication to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
  • Maintain high-quality record keeping, adhering to process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with assistance from higher classification staff members.
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks related to participants.
  • Contribute to achieving key performance indicators, including planning targets.

About You:

  • Previous experience in roles such as Planner, Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator or Disability Employment Consultant is highly regarded.
  • A background in disability or public sector is considered advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations is crucial.
  • Proficient IT and data analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products is expected.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines are vital.
