Maintenance Planning Role
Job DescriptionThe role of the Maintenance Planner is to schedule and plan short to medium maintenance for all mobile plant and equipment on site. This ensures maximum availability in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
This involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and meeting quality standards.
The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles within open pit hard rock mining, with extensive knowledge of JDE and detailed understanding of maintenance on large mining mobile plant.
Additionally, they will have proven experience with business and continuous improvement projects, including scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimates, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years experience in a similar role within open pit hard rock mining
- Extensive practical knowledge and experience in JDE
- Detailed knowledge of maintenance on large mining mobile plant
- Proven experience with implementation of business and continuous improvement projects
- Demonstrated experience with scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimate, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards
