Job Overview

The PM Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-determine trailer arrivals and ensure accuracy of consignments.
  • Coordinate tasks with the PM operations team and delegate responsibilities when necessary.
  • Optimize efficiency of unloading and loading operations by analyzing workflows and streamlining processes.
  • Verify Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) for interstate trailers and collaborate with management to identify areas for business growth and expansion.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for business expansion and participate in brainstorming sessions with the management team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Transport Industry (Interstate Freight) with a focus on logistics and operational coordination.
  • Knowledge of the Perth Metropolitan area and its transportation networks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Valid forklift license and knowledge of load restraints.

Work Environment:

This role is based in Kewdale, Western Australia, and involves working varied shifts including afternoons and evenings. The successful candidate should be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity and focus.
