Job Description

This role oversees the management of equipment under a long-term service agreement, emphasizing the value of equipment health management and collaboration with regional or district operations to maintain high-quality service delivery and customer relationships.

Nature and Scope
  • Reporting Structure: Primarily accountable to the Operations Manager for activities associated with assigned LTSA contracts.
  • Providing Direction: Leads Fleet Engineers and Solar/Customer field personnel in operational and technical activities.
  • Technical Focal Point: Customer/Solar technical focal point for LTSA-covered equipment.
  • Commercial Support: Acts as liaison between Solar and Customer on financial decisions.
  • Communications: Ensures clear communication with key Solar/Customer personnel.
  • Consistent Approach: Utilizes People, Processes, and Technology developed by Machinery Management Services to ensure consistent service delivery and world-class performance.
  • Working Environment: May involve extensive travel and work from Solar/Customer offices or facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Alert Management: Investigates alerts, documenting steps to acknowledge and dispose of them in a timely manner, providing resolution and closure with the customer.
  • CATCH: Promotes InSight System equipment health-related alerts to Customer Advisory to Change in Health (CATCH), clearly documenting all actions taken.
  • PAR: Promotes High Value InSight System CATCHs to Preventive Action Reports (PAR) to provide value-added documentation to the customer on services included in the LTSA.
  • Service Bulletin Management: Reviews and manages service bulletins issued for covered equipment under the LTSA, determining their applicability and supporting customers with implementation planning.
  • Engine History: Maintains covered equipment engine history tracking.
  • Overhaul Optimization: Uses operational data to determine accurate equipment health and collaborates with customers to optimize run life while meeting operational needs through identifying exchange opportunities in advance.
