The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Principal to join our team. As a key member of the school leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing workforce effectiveness by providing leadership and motivation to staff, with a strategic focus on initiatives aimed at advancing student outcomes and elevating the school's service quality.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively with K-12 staff to identify and implement a unified pedagogical framework, with a strong emphasis on low variance teaching practices.
- Work collaboratively with staff to embed our Whole School approaches, including InitiaLit, Talk for Writing, Top Ten Maths, and a robust commitment to student intervention spanning K-12.
- Lead a responsive Student Services team, including the line management of student services staff, to ensure the needs of all students are met.
- Forge collaborative relationships with town-based service providers and community groups to ensure the continuous prioritisation of optimal support for all students.
