Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our Hawthorn store. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all areas of the business, including customer service, sales, and store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive a high level of service and support in-store.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Drive sales and revenue growth through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Store Operations
    • Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
    • Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Provide coaching and training to team members to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience
    • Proven leadership experience in a retail environment, preferably in a team leadership role.
  • Customer Service Skills
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Strong product knowledge, with the ability to advise customers on products and services.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
