We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide care and support to our elderly clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personal care and support to elderly clients, including assistance with intimate personal care
- Supporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and transportation to appointments
- Casual opportunity available
- Monday to Friday | Flexibility is essential
- This role would suit a local resident who is willing to travel to various locations
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.61 plus 25% casual loading + 11% superannuation and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax benefits)
- Travel allowance of $0.99 per km and paid travel between services
- Daily mobile allowance paid when using your own device for work-related purposes
- Understanding of and passion for working with elderly
- Minimum of Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent) is essential
- Medication assist module is desirable
- Current drivers license
- A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Ability to confidently use different forms of technology including smartphone or tablet
