Job Summary
As a Petroleum Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of fuel facilities within the Australian Defence Force. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the refueling of vehicles and aircraft, as well as manage the storage and handling of dangerous goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of fuel facilities, including overseeing refueling operations and managing inventory
- Operate various vehicles, including forklifts and fuel trucks, to ensure efficient movement of personnel and equipment
- Conduct laboratory testing of fuel to ensure its quality and safety
- Account for fuel as a supply item, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management
- Participate in marine transfer operations, working closely with other teams to ensure safe and efficient transfer of fuel
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must also possess a high level of physical fitness and be willing to work in challenging conditions.
What We Offer
The Australian Defence Force offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
