About the Role

As a Senior Brand Experience Director at Canva, you will lead the charge in creating culturally resonant and on-brand experiences that showcase our ability to stay at the forefront of design, technology, and community.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that moves fast and is passionate about doing the best work of our lives. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and agencies to deliver polished, cutting-edge designs that inspire and engage.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art, design, and cultural trends, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity and guide projects to clarity and execution. They will also have extensive experience in brand design, supported by an outstanding portfolio showcasing diverse projects across brand, motion, and product design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead creative direction across experiential for both internal and external events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Canva to develop immersive, memorable and effective experiences
  • Develop compelling experiences that humanize our product, connect with our community, and embed Canva's brand in culture
  • Mentor and inspire a creative team to do their best work while enjoying the process
