KBR, Inc. is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead overall operations, maintenance, and performance of our government customer's sites. This role will be located in Alice Springs, Australia at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the facilities' Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and repairs to include predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Develop equipment maintenance scheduling plans and ensure compliance with original equipment manufacturers' instructions and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the planned maintenance program and implement necessary modifications.
- Formulate and enforce operational and maintenance standards that support company objectives and contractual requirements.
- Hire, train, and lead a competent workforce to be versatile and technically savvy.
- Guarantee the continuity of critical infrastructure operations and implement work processes to assist clients with achieving reliable equipment performance at cost-effective rates.
- Draft comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Communicate effectively with diverse teams and respond to questions and operational issues.
- Possess an active TS/SCI with adjudicated CI polygraph or Host Nation PV clearance.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting projects of similar scope, size, and complexity.
- A minimum of two (2) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of facilities maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing daily/weekly/monthly work plans and incorporating applicable environmental health and safety practices.
- Experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments requiring close coordination with mission operations.
- Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining power generation equipment and building recapitalization plans.
- Ability to read construction design and equipment drawings and knowledge of process improvement models.
