Job Overview

The Financial Integrity Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial stability of an organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a close-knit team, utilising strong accounting skills and computer proficiency to ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of cash transactions.

About the Role

As a Financial Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, internally and externally, while supporting the Group Manager in maintaining and enhancing a robust control framework across the group's operations in a confidential and accountable manner.

  • Clearance reconciliation
  • Preparing banking statements
  • Issuing and balancing floats including keno, bars and change bars
  • Assisting with the preparation of ATMs
  • Balancing at the end of the shift
  • Providing advice and recommendations relating to process flows and reporting
  • Balancing of all monies
  • Monitoring and reviewing cash handling within the organisation including POS variances
  • Recording all transactions
  • Maintaining petty cash records in accordance with organisational policy
  • Minimising the organisation's cash exposure during operational hours
  • Maintaining and coordinating the implementation of financial control procedures as required
  • Performing any other duty reasonably requested at any time
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills Word, Excel, Micros POS, accounting software
  • Strong hands-on accounting skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills with high level accuracy
  • Self-directed, whilst working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Willing to travel when required depending on business needs
  • Possess a current RSA and RCG competency card
