Job Title

The role of a Senior Building Surveyor is critical to the success of our organization. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing assessments of Development/Building Approval applications, conducting comprehensive building inspections and assessments, and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

The position involves preparing and processing documentation relating to building approvals, inspection reports, and occupancy certificates. You will also review building plans and drawings to assess compliance with relevant building codes and regulations, and liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience as a Building Surveyor/Certifier and/or inspector in QLD. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Building Surveying/Certification in QLD, hold a recognised Bachelor's Degree and/or Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying, and possess a current QBCC Certifier/Inspector Licence.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be required to stay up-to-date with the latest changes to building and planning regulations and industry best practices. You will work closely with our team to ensure 100% compliance with relevant building and planning codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee assessments of Development/Building Approval applications
  • Conduct comprehensive building inspections and assessments
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Building Surveyor/Certifier and/or inspector in QLD
  • Proficient in Building Surveying/Certification in QLD
  • Recognised Bachelor's Degree and/or Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying
  • Current QBCC Certifier/Inspector Licence
