Design System Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Design System Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on evolving our Design System, called Supply, and design specialised expert interfaces for our industry-leading product, CargoWise.

This role is critical to our significant investment in the Design craft across all facets of our business. As a Design System Specialist, you will be working with our embedded User Experience Designers to help them overcome interface-related challenges and align solutions with the Design System.

You will need to embrace the unique challenges of enterprise-scale software design for an expert audience while using contemporary user interface solutions in pursuit of the best possible user experience.

About the Role

  • 5+ years of digital user interface design experience in product organizations, agencies or enterprise environments
  • Expert-level skills in Figma, with experience in coaching other designers in Figma best practices and how to use design system components correctly
  • Strong understanding of current industry trends in UI design
  • Experienced collaborator with other Designers, with a preference for working together
  • Active involvement in design system efforts in previous roles
