Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Leading Hand at our breeder production farm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Farm Manager in the coordination of all farm activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the farm.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the poultry industry, preferably in breeders, and will possess excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

They will also be conversant with animal welfare standards, legislative obligations, and Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous poultry industry experience, preferably in breeders
  • Conversant with animal welfare standards, legislative obligations, and Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
