We are currently seeking applications for a senior physiotherapy position within our rehabilitation team, catering to individuals aged 18 – 64 years with acquired brain injury (ABI) on a permanent full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, physiotherapists actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients. This role represents a senior therapist in the profession of physiotherapy, providing expertise and recommendations relating to PT interventions in response to service requirements. In addition to expectations outlined in the job description for a physiotherapist, this position is responsible for mentoring, supervising and coordinating other physiotherapists or therapy teams to ensure quality Allied Health services, working across service areas as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered as a physiotherapist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive experience providing physiotherapy services, including clinical leadership and supervision of health teams supporting clients with complex health issues.
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care in consultation with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a commitment to safe and high-quality care.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills that enable effective leadership, inclusive teamwork and successful stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven customer-focused work ethic, highly developed person-centred skills, strong alignment with Brightwater's values and mission.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organise tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines and use resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement and the capability to identify and implement associated activities.
  • Ability to manage change and support team members in a care-related environment in line with operational and strategic goals.
  • Working knowledge of relevant safety and health legislation.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate.
  • Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
