Senior HVAC Engineer Opportunity

About the Company: A leading national HVAC & BMS Contractor is expanding its Australian presence to capitalize on a thriving market and growing demand for its services both domestically and internationally. Over the past decade, the company has assembled a 'dream team' of top-notch operators in the HVAC industry. They have recently created a new role at Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager level. The final piece of the puzzle is an experienced Engineering Manager to join the leadership group.

The Role:

  1. Coordinate design efforts and lead client-facing meetings
  2. Apply value engineering principles to commercial projects such as warehouses, shopping centers, high-rise buildings, etc. (typically projects up to $30M Mechanical services)
  3. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  4. Lead the Engineering Team, overseeing all aspects of Project Management, Engineering Design, and Commissioning of HVAC systems

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. RPEQ 10 years' experience as a minimum
  2. Proficient in Camel
  3. Knowledgeable of industry standards and codes
  4. Expertise in equipment selection, duct design, static calculations, compliance checking of Mechanical systems and controls
  5. Ability to review supplier quotations and vetting for technical compliance and project suitability
