Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our climate and community partnerships team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and delivering climate action plans, as well as experience in building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

This role requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and foster participation from all sectors of the community.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field, and experience in managing multi-function service units in local government or a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver climate and environmental sustainability education programs
  • Represent the organization at various events and meetings
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals
  • Prepare reports and performance metrics
  • Lead and supervise a team

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing multi-function service units
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
