We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Artist to join our team at Playags Inc. As a Technical Artist, you will play a key role in the development of our games, working closely with our art and engineering teams to create high-quality visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement art tools and pipelines to improve efficiency and quality of game assets.
  • Collaborate with artists and engineers to develop and maintain game art assets, including 2D and 3D models, textures, and animations.
  • Develop and implement runtime animation and visual effects in Unity, including character rigging, particle animation, and dynamic elements.
  • Sequence runtime choreography for game elements and transitions between scenes.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills in art and animation, including proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Maya.
  • Experience with Unity and C# programming.
  • Ability to create shaders and optimize art assets for performance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the gaming industry, with a focus on game development and art pipelines.
  • Knowledge of art optimization techniques and best practices for game development.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
