
12-Month Contract Network Planning Opportunity

The Network Planner will be responsible for leading the execution of inventory optimisation initiatives within the network.
This position sits within our newly created centralised Supply Chain division and supports Networking planning for one of our popular building materials.
- Partner with distribution staff, customer service staff, production planners, and production staff to resolve operational issues on sites.
- Review monthly distribution requirements and proactively recommend strategies to minimise excess stock, inventory shortages, and monitor stock levels.
- Identify inventory policy violations, track STOs, and ensure timely delivery to customer sites.
- Manage SAP purchase order and STO details to reflect any changes.
A minimum of three years professional experience in supply chain planning is required.
Previous experience of first principal inventory management methods is essential.
Numerate and systems literate candidates are encouraged to apply.
Exposure to S&OP / IBP environment is also desirable.
- Good planning and organising skills combined with strong attention to detail.
- A team player able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally to a senior level.
- Able to meet deadlines with quality output.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Innovative thinking and problem solving.
- Analytical thinking and information seeking.
- Preferred experience across other areas of supply chain management including inventory, freight, warehousing, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
