Job Title: Senior Data Engineering Leader

As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will play a key role in driving the success of our organization by leading the design and delivery of cutting-edge data platforms and software applications.

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Associate Director to join our Sydney office. As part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to understand client needs and deliver compelling market-leading solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex data engineering projects.
  • Partner with clients to identify business opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow professionally.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendor partners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of modern dev ops practices (docker/kubernetes).
  • Experience with event-driven application design and real-time systems.
  • Familiarity with contemporary data processing technologies (Spark, Flink).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
