We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Planner to join our team at Unilever. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure efficient and effective maintenance scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant Reliability and Systems Development
    • Collaborate with the Engineering Maintenance Manager and Reliability Engineers to establish a world-class asset care program that achieves high standards of plant reliability and efficiency.
    • Schedule all planned maintenance activities for the site in CMMS, including parts and resource requirements, to optimize equipment uptime and minimize business risk.
    • Manage the site work order backlog and establish trade hours estimates of planned maintenance work.
    • Ensure all necessary parts, services, and documentation are readily available for maintenance work.
    • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of equipment maintenance history within the CMMS database.
    • Work with the Production Scheduler to ensure maintenance work is factored into production plans.
    • Capture and report key performance indicators for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance, and planning and scheduling.
  • Safety and Environment
    • Comply with North Rocks Permit to Work Systems and Engineering Management of Change Control.
    • Ensure compliance with Safety in Aerosol Manufacture Specific Standards.
    • Understand and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
    • Process Safety Management System.
    • Ensure the completion of near miss/incident reports and subsequent accident and environmental non-conformance investigations.
  • Requirements
    • Engineering and/or trade qualifications.
    • Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities (minimum 2 years' experience).
    • Demonstrated technical and analytical experience.
    • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as MEX (desirable).
    • Advanced MS Office skills.
    • Superior communication, written, and verbal skills.
    • Strong organization skills.
    • Superior analytical skills.
