Financial Crime Analytics | Risk Management | Compliance

Located in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile engagements with top-tier clients, develop and implement AI-driven solutions, and manage a team of experts.

We are seeking an experienced leader who can drive exceptional client outcomes, foster collaboration, and develop their team members.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and strong client relationship management skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of high-profile financial crime engagements
  • Developing and harnessing AI capability to drive client success
  • Client relationship management and business development
  • Team leadership and talent development
  • Practice management and ongoing strategy development

Requirements include:

  • At least 8 years of experience in a consulting environment or professional services firm
  • Strong technical skills in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
  • Experience with advanced data analytics methodologies and AI use cases
  • Ability to produce executive-level reporting from data analytics
  • Knowledge of major data analytics software and platforms
  • Strong understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations
  • Understanding of fraud, scams, and bribery and corruption risks and typologies
  • Direct experience with regulatory matters and AML/CTF risk management practices
  • Experience conducting AML/CTF Program Independent Reviews
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and machine learning/artificial intelligence
  • Experience working on large-scale remediation and transformation programs
  • Ability to work with clients to design and implement end-to-end risk management frameworks
