About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced oral health professional to join our team as an Associate Lecturer in Oral Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and coordinating subjects in the Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene) program, as well as contributing to the development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and coordinate subjects in the Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene) program
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum
  • Provide clinical services in the Charles Sturt Oral Health and Dental Clinics
  • Participate in research and innovation activities aligned with the University's strategic priorities
Requirements
  • Qualification relevant to the discipline and appropriate to the level being applied for
  • Full registration as a Dentist or Oral Health Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
  • Excellent understanding of the clinical practice of oral health therapy, supported by a record of teaching and subject coordination relevant to the discipline and appropriate to the level being applied for
  • Evidence of the delivery of high-quality student-centred learning and teaching in oral health therapy and/or general dentistry
