Key Responsibilities:

Drive the evolution of our data lake and warehouse by leading a team of data engineers and architects. Collaborate across business, analytics, and technology teams to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise data goals.

  • Design and Implement robust ELT/ETL pipelines and technical standards/governance policies.
  • Mentor and Lead data engineering or platform teams, managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives to drive business growth through advanced analytics, machine learning, and operational insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience in leading data engineering or platform teams, mentoring talent, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Expertise in cloud-native data services (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and tools like Dagster or Airflow.
  • Strong Understanding of data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, and security protocols.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; advanced degrees and cloud certifications highly desirable.
