About Cyber Security Role
This is a key position within the Integrated Energy business unit, acting as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity matters.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on cybersecurity matters to support strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior leaders as a trusted cybersecurity advisor
- Represent cybersecurity in business unit planning, projects, audits, and incident response
- Help shape initiatives that reduce cyber risk and avoid security or technical debt
- Ensure cyber controls and standards are built into systems, data, processes, and customer journeys
- Provide regular reporting, service-level oversight, and act as escalation point for security concerns
- Stay ahead of changing regulations and ensure compliance impacts are well understood
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness and training across the business unit
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience influencing at senior levels
- Strategic thinking and a pragmatic, risk-based approach to cybersecurity
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and drive security outcomes across multiple business areas
- Experience in Cybersecurity governance, risk, and advisory in Operational Technology environments
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. You will be required to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position.
