We are seeking an experienced Soil Testing Professional to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work in both field and laboratory settings, completing construction materials testing while assisting with geotechnical site investigations.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is passionate about achieving quality outcomes and has a willingness to use the latest technology and software to support their role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing construction materials testing in the field and laboratory
  • Assisting with geotechnical site investigations
  • Interpreting and performing Australian and DTMR standards for concrete and soils

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Certificate 3 in Laboratory Skills or Construction Material Testing
  • A current QLD Nuclear Density Gauge License
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in soil testing and develop their skills in a supportive team environment. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-45 + super based on experience, as well as opportunities for overtime and professional development.

The majority of the work is local to Toowoomba, with some travel opportunities available. A relaxed working environment, open plan office space, and regular social events make this a great place to work.
