Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team.

  • This role will involve providing high-quality advice and service to customers by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
About the Team

The Long Service Corporation is a team within Fair Trading and Regulatory Services that manages building and construction industry and contract cleaning industry portable long service schemes. We work across a broad portfolio of functions and projects to deliver better regulation in NSW.

Your Day-to-Day Work

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing timely and accurate information to customers on a wide range of complex matters relating to legislative obligations and entitlements.
  2. Maintaining the accuracy, currency, and integrity of the Corporation's records in accordance with legislative requirements.
  3. Registration of Workers or Employees, Service Record entitlements, Respond to complex enquiries and complaints with tact and sensitivity; provide relevant information and, where appropriate, escalate the matter to a manager.
What You Will Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated use of sound judgement and discretionary skills to ensure that decisions, actions, and outcomes are delivered in accordance with legislative requirements and appropriate delegations.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a diverse customer service and regulatory environment.
  • Proven experience communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and industry partners.
