Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position, working a 7x7 roster.

Our ideal candidate will enjoy delivering outstanding customer service and problem solving, ensuring value for money for customers.

The role involves:

  • Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding on Cat equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Compiling accurate reporting
  • Working autonomously to manage time and maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Liaising with our internal service department

To be considered, you will have:

- Qualifications in Diesel Technology with experience in Caterpillar machines

- Advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge

- Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety procedures

- Current Drivers Licence (Light Rigid licence is also highly regarded)
