Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development and implementation of a dynamic lifestyle program to enrich the lives of residents.
  • Coordinate and manage events and group activities that promote social interaction, recreation, and cultural engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers to support the delivery of the lifestyle program.
  • Train staff to ensure the highest level of person-centered service and support in the delivery of the lifestyle program.
  • Drive engagement in social, recreational, and cultural activities that promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Facilitate mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence.
  • Consider unique needs, values, spiritual beliefs, and cultural preferences of each resident in planning activities.

About You:



  • You hold a Cert IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or an equivalent qualification.
  • Desirably have management experience as you will be overseeing a team of Lifestyle Officers.
  • You bring experience in adult learning principles and competencies in teaching and program development.
  • Your relationship-building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are highly developed.
  • You have a solid understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and a proven track record of delivering learning outcomes within these frameworks.
