We are seeking a skilled lawyer with 3-5 years of post-admission experience to join our team. You will be responsible for advising and representing employers on employment-related matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and work health and safety investigations and prosecutions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience in workplace safety matters from both a front-end and litigious perspective. They will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a practical and proactive approach.
As an Employment Lawyer at K&L Gates Australia, you will work closely with our experienced Partners to provide expert advice and representation to clients across various industries, including entertainment, medical, construction, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Representing employers in employment-related disputes and negotiations;
- Advising on novel and complex employment queries and conducting workplace investigations;
- Negotiating and drafting employment-related documents, including contracts of employment and workplace policies;
- Litigating matters in State and Federal Courts, Tribunals, and Commissions.
You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, from advice and transactional work to litigation, and contribute to the growth and development of our Labour, Employment & Workplace Safety practice.
