Rural Specialist Physician Opportunity on the Eyre Peninsula

Located in a beautiful coastal city, this Rural Generalist role offers a diverse and rewarding experience for physicians seeking to join a team-oriented clinic and hospital network.
This position is ideal for physicians with Advanced DRANZCOG skills or those seeking to train in obstetrics, as it provides opportunities for procedural experience and training pathways to diplomas in C-sections.
The clinic boasts 12 consulting rooms, with a proactive Practice Manager supporting a team of experienced GPs and registrars. Physicians can expect a guaranteed share of around 160 births per year, with significant procedural experience available.
The location offers a convenient 35-minute flight to Adelaide, with regular Qantas and Rex flights. The community-centered lifestyle provides a balance of rural charm and close access to city amenities.
To be successful in this role, applicants should hold FRACGP/FACRRM qualifications with Advanced DRANZCOG or equivalent. Experienced or recently graduated Rural Obstetricians are welcomed, as are opportunities for GPs seeking to train in obstetrics and further develop procedural skills.
The package includes a potential income of over $475,000 per annum, with rural incentives of $70,000+ annually. A relocation grant of $3,000 is also offered, along with a rural recruitment package of $35-50K for proceduralists moving from MMM1-2 areas.
