Massage Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled massage therapist to provide professional massage treatments in various settings. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with other health professionals to tailor care for clients with diverse needs.

The successful candidate will have the ability to empower clients through tailored care, applying evidence-based remedial massage practices to enhance musculoskeletal health and promote overall wellbeing. They will also be responsible for adapting treatments for clients with physical or cognitive challenges, including older adults and those living with disability or chronic conditions.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain detailed, confidential records that track client progress and support continuity of care. The successful candidate will also be part of a collaborative care network, working closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and support staff to deliver holistic, integrated treatment.

About You

  • You will have a Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015 or equivalent) and current professional membership with a recognised industry association.
  • You will also have provider number eligibility with relevant health funds, current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver's licence and reliable transport (for community/home care roles).
  • In addition, you will have demonstrated experience in providing massage therapy to older adults or people with chronic health conditions, as well as a clear understanding of Disability Inclusion Act 2014 and NSW Disability Standards.
  • You will also hold Working with Children Check Clearance Verification Number and demonstrate an understanding of Child Protection Legislation, as well as a clear understanding of NDIS or Aged Care funding models.
