Job Title: Process Maintenance Technician
Job Description:This role involves monitoring and maintaining equipment in a large, fixed plant process mining environment to ensure safe milling production targets are achieved.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain and assist across all areas of the processing plant as required.
- Monitor and maintain conveyor systems, crushers, screens, feeders, chutes, high pressure grinding rolls and other plant equipment.
- Conduct PM inspections and shutdown supervision.
- Operate plant equipment including EWP, forklift, overhead crane, dogging, basic rigging and Hiab.
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Prior experience in a large, fixed plant environment.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Sound mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work within a team.
- PC skills.
- Exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of statutory regulations relevant to safety and the environment for the mining industry.
- High Risk Licence: forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred).
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (preferred).
- C class manual drivers' licence.
