We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Laboratory Manager to oversee departmental testing and operations while fostering a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will manage the development, validation, and implementation of protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role involves strategic planning, resource management to optimize laboratory performance, and support clinical needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the department's annual operating plan
- Maintaining oversight of departmental testing, development, and validation of methods
- Ensuring all work practices and procedures are in place and followed by employees
- Proactively driving quality and workflow improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with experience in laboratory operations and quality assurance.
A postgraduate qualification in microbiology or a related field is highly desirable.
