The Government Of Western Australia Department Of Health is seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensivist to join our team at the Perth Children's Hospital.

The Opportunity

This Fixed Term Part Time appointment for twelve (12) months at 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE), with the possibility of extension(s), offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist medical/surgical service to patients, promoting patient quality and safety.
  • Lead, train, supervise, and educate doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department.

Requirements

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.

This position is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check.
