Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to excel in a senior management role within the finance sector. As a Financial Systems Manager, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level strategic advice to senior leadership on financial internal control frameworks and compliance.
  • Develop and manage annual work plans to support key financial assurance requirements.
  • Communicate and train staff on financial systems and governance best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement effective system controls to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain finance information assets in line with our department's information security framework.
  • Manage the finance risk register in accordance with our risk management framework.
  • Lead the coordination of material loss reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute expert advice to improve our financial management practices and policies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial and system issues.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining key control frameworks and processes.
  • Able to work under pressure to deliver timely professional advice and reporting.
  • Well-developed communication skills, including consultation and negotiation.
  • Able to foster a culture that values performance, customer service, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Drive to continuously develop technical knowledge and expertise.
