Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary mental health care team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Inpatient Mental Health Consumers, providing quality social work services that promote their well-being and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized social work services to Inpatient Mental Health Consumers, addressing their unique needs and goals
  • Work collaboratively as an integral part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance patient outcomes
  • Effectively prioritize and manage your caseload across a regional area, ensuring timely interventions and responsive support
  • Commit to delivering high-quality social work practices, grounded in evidence-based principles and best practices

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Current unrestricted driver's license and capacity to maintain
