About the RoleThe role of Site Supervisor is a crucial part of overseeing commercial activities related to subcontractors. It requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of subcontractor work, including contract management, budget oversight, and adherence to commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with subcontractors to resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Site Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising subcontractors' daily activities, ensuring that work is executed as per business priorities and contractual requirements. This includes identifying and documenting deviations, coordinating work planning with all subcontractors trades, and participating in daily planning meetings.

The successful candidate will also be required to monitor activities and provide progress reports, coordinate change management process and manage claims with the subcontractors, approve timesheets, progress and invoicing, and manage weekly meetings with subcontractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in construction management or a similar field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
