Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the day-to-day management of network operations. This role involves troubleshooting, project planning, and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with network hardware and protocols, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing network-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues arising during project implementation phases.
  • Responding to and addressing incidents escalated by the service desk team.
  • Planning and implementing network-related projects, including upgrades, new installations, and enhancements.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
  • Monitoring network performance to assess the need for updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Recommending and implementing options for improving network performance and reliability.
  • Ensuring all network documentation and procedures are current and accurate.
  • Creating and updating network diagrams, configurations, and process documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Aruba switches, Fortinet, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Thorough understanding of switching protocols, including VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, and other switching protocols used in Enterprise Networks.
  • Experience configuring Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points.
  • Experience with Voice and SIP call flow troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and SBCs - Audiocodes experience is a bonus.
  • In-depth understanding and experience of routing protocols.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec Site to Site VPNs is a must.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
