About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Claims Insights Coordinator. As part of this role, you will provide critical support to our Clinical Insights Panel by coordinating case conferences, managing referrals, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with external customers to understand their referral requirements and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Screening incoming referrals to ensure all relevant medical documentation is present, summarizing key clinical issues, and allocating cases to the most appropriate Medical Advisor based on available information.
  • Coordinating and scheduling case conferences involving Medical Advisors, customers, and other stakeholders within agreed timeframes and attending these meetings as required.
  • Providing comprehensive case coordination, ensuring deliverables are met in accordance with agreed timelines, and maintaining regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Building rapport and working closely with Medical Advisors on referral allocation, availability, scheduling, and reporting progress and finalization to maintain visibility on Medical Advisor caseload and capacity.
  • Issuing finalized reports and invoices via appropriate systems and gathering customer feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
  • Providing weekly status updates to the management team on customer referral trends and Medical Advisor utilization, availability, and work in progress.
  • Assisting in the onboarding of new Medical Advisors, including induction on operational processes to ensure consistency in service delivery.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

  • Relationship/account management experience in personal injury, insurance, or compensable healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated claims management and/or case management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within set timeframes.
  • The ability to apply personal injury knowledge when reviewing referrals to identify key issues and appropriately assign cases.
  • A current satisfactory Police Clearance, Working with Children check, and driver's license.
  • Experience and sound knowledge of Medical and Allied Health Services is also desirable.
