Job Title

Transport and Operations Coordinator

This role is a crucial part of ensuring the safe and efficient coordination of truck movements across operations, with a strong focus on maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility legislation in NSW.

The Opportunity

Lead the charge in transport safety and compliance across NSW and be the key link between logistics and legal responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate and schedule trucks across multiple sites and projects.
  • Ensure all drivers comply with NSW Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Monitor driver fatigue, load limits, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Liaise with site supervisors and transport providers to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck movements and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to drivers on CoR responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in transport coordination or truck allocation.
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility and NHVR regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
