Cbus is seeking an experienced Education Specialist to deliver high-quality retirement education programs and seminars to our members, empowering them to make informed choices about their superannuation. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging educational content, maintaining and updating existing seminars, and building relationships with our members through personable and effective communication.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to drive engagement through education tailored to key life stages and support the growth of new business by providing education and assistance to potential members. You will also be required to travel occasionally for work and may need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

This role requires a deep understanding of finance advice principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt your style to a range of audiences and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Present tailored education seminars to support, engage, and educate our members
  • Maintain and update presentations to ensure they are current and compliant
  • Develop new topics, content, and strategies to better engage and educate our members on Cbus offerings
  • Support the onboarding process of new members with new employers to increase white-collar membership growth
  • Drive engagement through education tailored to key life stages and in support of the marketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar Education Specialist, Education Manager or Relationship Manager role in Superannuation or Finance
  • Proven experience presenting member education and general advice seminars with a detailed understanding of finance advice principles
  • RG146 compliant (or a commitment to complete this qualification within first few weeks of employment)
  • Passion for Superannuation, Education, and delivering great member experiences
  • Knowledge of retirement planning, the Aged Pension, and available Centrelink options (beneficial)
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to a range of audiences and stakeholders
