BMS Service Technician

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled BMS Service Technician to join our team in Mackay. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our diverse customer base, including commercial properties, universities, and healthcare facilities.

The Day-to-DayAs a BMS Service Technician, you will be responsible for managing the breakdown and maintenance of Building Management Systems. You will demonstrate a high knowledge of products to constantly suggest improvements to our customers and ensure that excellent service delivery is met and achieved within budget and time constraints.
You will also participate in on-call duties, where you may need to work after hours. On-call allowance and overtime payments apply where applicable.
The Perfect FitWe're looking for someone who is technically skilled in Electrical or Mechanical HVAC or Instrumentation or Controls, knowledgeable in building management systems (BMS), and passionate about finding and implementing energy efficiency solutions.
You will be IT proficient with fault-finding experience and knowledge with network routers, switches, and network hardware. You will also have a passion for working customized software solutions and products to enhance customer service for mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.
