About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMS Service Technician to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of their building management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers, including troubleshooting, fault finding, and commissioning of building management and control systems.
  • Service and Maintenance: Manage the breakdown and maintenance of Building Management Systems, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and within budget and time constraints.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a high knowledge of Schneider Electric products and services, and use this expertise to suggest improvements and enhancements to our customers.
  • Safety Awareness: Practice a high degree of safety awareness, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and controlled manner, and that all safety requirements are met.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties, where you may be required to work outside of normal working hours. On-call allowance and overtime payments will apply where applicable.
Requirements
  • Electrical or HVAC Background: You will have a strong background in electrical or HVAC, with a full or restricted license.
  • Technical Skills: You will have excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of building management systems and control systems.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Autonomy and Initiative: You will be able to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and initiative, and be able to take ownership of your work.
