About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our Allied Health team on a part-time basis. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a varied caseload, including gastrointestinal surgery, oncology, haematology, general medical, ICU, cardiac, and orthopaedics.

As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients, demonstrating sound clinical reasoning and best practice dietary prescription, and contributing to the multidisciplinary care of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional assessment and management of patients
  • Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and best practice dietary prescription
  • Contribute to the multidisciplinary care of patients
  • Involve in both inpatient and outpatient services
Requirements
  • Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
  • Current member of Dietitian Association of Australia
  • Minimum 2 years' acute hospital experience
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence-based practice
  • Authority to Work in Australia
