We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering scheduled items, assisting with the collection and delivery of returns, loading and unloading items, and following transport legislation and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-start checks on the vehicle and all equipment before use.
- Report any faults to your manager immediately.
- Complete daily run sheets and have all delivery notes signed.
- Drive and work in a safe manner at all times.
- Adhere to COR requirements.
- Complete daily load audits.
- Ensure tidy presentation of vehicle and equipment at all times.
- Ensure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulations.
- Have thorough knowledge of NSW and QLD Road Rules and transport legislation/guidelines and road safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist customer requests regarding placement.
- Assist customers with queries/disputes.
- Report all queries/disputes to the Branch Manager.
- Full clean driver's license.
- HR/MC license.
- Good communication skills.
- Proactive nature.
- High attention to detail.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Vehicle unloading crane experience.
- Forklift license is highly desirable.
- VLC license is highly desirable.
