Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced fabricator to work in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine product specifications and requirements from drawings and technical documentation
  • Fabricate large conveyor components from profile-cut and pre-cut steel according to customer specifications
  • Examine work for defects and ensure finished products meet specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain a safe working environment and account for the safe operation of plant, tools, vehicles, and safety equipment

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma or trade certificate in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
  • Knowledge of heavy fabrication practices and manufacturing processes
  • Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
  • Desirable: Dogging, Work at Heights, Forklift, Overhead Crane tickets
  • Reliable, respectful, and a team player with excellent communication skills
